Concrete Walkways & Patios in Kittery Point, Maine

Route 103 through Kittery Point is one of the most historic miles in Maine, and the properties along it, from Fort McClary out past the church and the pier, ask for work that respects what is already there. Lanes are narrow, lots are old, stone walls and mature trees stand exactly where a careless contractor would want to drive, and the harbor throws weather at everything. This is careful, small-footprint, high-standard work, and we like it.

Walkways, steps, and modest patios make up most of our Kittery Point projects. Original walks here have often served a century and finally surrendered to frost; we replace them through our concrete services with surfaces that fit the setting, broom-finished with crisp edges, or stamped in brick and cobble patterns that read period-correct while performing as one reinforced slab. Steps get cast with real texture, because Point mornings are foggy and the walk to the car should not be an adventure.

Access and protection are half the craft on these lots. We size equipment down, plan every path, and shield walls, gardens, and granite along the way. Where drainage against an old foundation or a soft lane needs correction, our excavation and site work handles it at the same careful scale, and short driveways and aprons run through our asphalt services on proper base.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our lane barely fits a car. Can you still work here?

Yes. Compact equipment, staged deliveries, and hand work where machines do not belong. Kittery Point access is a planning question, and we plan it before pricing.

Can new concrete look right beside a 1700s house?

It can, with restraint: correct color, period pattern if stamped, and edges that match the property's age. Bright modern finishes are the mistake; we do not make it.

The ground floods against our old foundation every spring. Is that fixable?

Almost always: regrade so water sheds away, capture roof runoff, and give it an exit path. We correct it as part of the walkway or patio project so the new work does not sit in the old water.

Do you remove and dispose of the old walk?

Yes, removal and disposal are included in the scope, and we tell you exactly what is coming out and what it costs before work begins.
